The QueerLandscape

The Queer Landscape is a vista of weird fiction. It showcases weird and fantastic stories. It is not a website for sword and sorcery, but concerns itself with grim, urban town-scapes, flawed protagonists, and corrupt petty bureaucrats. The world is subtly rotated, and every twisted bit wreckage, every rusty nail that binds together two pieces of burnt wood, was witness to a terrible a event. But the truth is too terrible to tell, and guilt ulcerates your intestines. You fight to repress your desires, but sneak out in the night to those grim tenements where painted men and painted women lure you to your addiction. And in an orgy of pleasure and self loathing, you find yourself, once again in the lower roads, where the familiar landmarks can be seen but not reached. They are watching you. They know your weakness. And when the time is right they will come for you, expose your guilt and you will find yourself naked, vulnerable, and imprisoned for the crime the you did not commit - but know you are guilty of.

That is the Queer Landscape: a haven from the mundane and an escape from reality.
