An Opinion from Hell

The smoking ban is working. It is a great success. Good Work.

It was very wise not to print the story about the suicide of the old bachelor, the man who committed suicide because of the smoking ban. Such people make the ban look bad. Obviously a few individuals will be upset about the ban, but a few of them dying is worth it if we can save thousands of others. Actually, we should encourage all the smokers to commit suicide, let's face it, their relentless determination not to do what we want sets a bad example. All smokers set a bad example to their children; couldn't we start a campaign to have their children taken away from them? That should make a few more quit!

As for the sad old persecuted bachelors, it's probably best for society that they be driven to suicide; they set a bad example to society. Remember, the smoking ban is much more important than the concept of individual freedom. Individuals coming to their own conclusions create a disharmonious society. The important thing about the ban is that we decide on behalf of the people the way they lead their lives. The health issue is not important, the plebs will die anyway. What is important is that we control how they live, and how they die.

Keep telling the BIG LIE - and keep telling it, and keep telling it! It will taken for fact. I love the way you keep saying that the smoking ban is a great success without letting the people know what you mean by that. It has destroyed the spirit of resistance that made the British people Great. It has been act of Cultural Genocide that has destroyed the social spirit of the nation. Well done.

Getting the people out of the pubs; where there was far too much 'free speech' and discussion, and getting them into their homes; where the never ending 'trash TV' can be pumped into their already, ill-educated and malfunctioning minds, was act of genius. They are the most perfect form of consumer-idiot ever created! Perfect for the purposes of exploitation!
